Features
The rules a typesetter would expect, applied to Figma layers.
Everything on this page is in the plugin today. The roadmap is further down, marked as such.
Pagination
Blocks move whole
A card, a chart, a signed-off component never gets cut. If it does not fit, it goes to the next page intact.
Headings keep with next
A heading never ends a page. It moves with the block that follows it. Driven by layer names, with [keep] as an override.
Pages added and removed
A last page that overflows gets a new page after it; a page that empties is removed. Numbers follow.
Splitting
Paragraphs split at a line
Text breaks at the end of the last line that fits, styles kept on both parts, joined back before every pass. A minimum of two lines on each side.
Tables split by row
Tag a block [split] and it breaks between its rows. A first row named Header repeats on the continuation.
Lists and stacks too
The same tag works for any vertical stack: a list of cards, a set of bullet items, a timeline.
Reflow
Incremental
Only blocks that have to cross a page boundary move. Everything else stays untouched, so nothing flickers.
Reflow as you edit
Tick one box and pages re-paginate half a second after you pause. Deleting from Layers, pasting and reordering all count.
Protected while typing
The block your cursor is in is never moved, split or joined. When you click out, that document gets one more pass.
Tokens
Page numbers
{n} or {page} and {total}, in any text layer of the template, in any style.
Date
{date} becomes the day the document was last flowed, as 13 October 2026.
Running heads
{section} repeats the heading in effect at the top of each page, like a chapter title through a book.
